SPECIAL NOTE TO REGISTER YOUR DOG WITH THE UKC

After you have become a member of Service Dogs of America, please remember to register your dog(s) with the United Kennel Club. The fee to register your first dog with the UKC after joining Service Dogs of America will be paid by SDA. Thereafter, subsequent individual dog registrations will be at a rate discounted $10.00 off the normal UKC registration fee.

In order to take advantage of this benefit, you must send your completed registration paperwork to the person and address specified below. Generally, the paperwork needed to register a UKC recognized breed includes: (1) A copy of the dog's registration with any registry recognized by the UKC, (2) A copy of the dog's three generation pedigree and (3) A completed UKC Application For Single Dog Registration .  

Subsequent dogs may be registered similarly, but the paperwork must be accompanied by your check or money order payable to either "Service Dogs of America" or the       "United Kennel Club"in the amount of $18.00. You may register your dog or dogs at any time after you have joined Service Dogs of America, provided you are an SDA member in good standing.
